DrainLog is a personal health data logging and tracking tool designed to help patients and caregivers record and monitor surgical drain output over time.

DrainLog is NOT:

A medical device
A diagnostic tool
A clinical decision support system
A substitute for professional medical care
FDA cleared or approved
HIPAA compliant for clinical use by covered entities

ALL INFORMATION GENERATED BY DRAINLOG IS FOR PERSONAL TRACKING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE MEDICAL ADVICE. DRAINLOG DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL DIAGNOSES, TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS, OR CLINICAL GUIDANCE. NOTHING IN THIS APP SHOULD BE INTERPRETED AS A RECOMMENDATION TO TAKE OR AVOID ANY MEDICAL ACTION.

When you share patient data with a healthcare provider through DrainLog:

You are responsible for ensuring you share with the correct person
DrainLog does not verify the credentials or identity of providers
Providers access data as a convenience tool only and should not use DrainLog as their system of record
You may revoke provider access at any time through the Settings screen

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DRAINLOG AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM: USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP; RELIANCE ON DATA OR INFORMATION GENERATED BY THE APP; ANY MEDICAL DECISIONS MADE BASED ON APP DATA; OR DATA LOSS, CORRUPTION, OR UNAUTHORISED ACCESS. YOUR USE OF DRAINLOG IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

7. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

All activity that occurs under your account
Ensuring your device is secured with appropriate locks
